Pop-Out Weight Display For Storage And Traveling The display on the 3875 pops in and out from the scale to save space and keep the display safe while traveling without the need for a lid. Perfect for maintaining your diet on the go!

Made To Go With You With this portable food scale you won't have to worry about eating out and losing track of your meals. Take this Taylor travel size diet scale with you and weigh your food portions wherever you go. It even has a glass top that's easy to wipe clean.

Easy To Clean Glass Platform This travel scale is easy to keep clean. The glass platform covers the entire top of the scale, so you just need to give it a wipe and it's ready to go.

Tare FeatureThe tare button next to the display on this travel food scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use a plate or bowl to weigh your food.

Energy Saving Auto-OffIf ya have ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. The 3875 will automatically turn off after a few moments of inactivity, saving battery power and money.

The scale arrived in perfect condition, easy to use instructions included. The only con that I have is the display is very small, and is difficult to read. Particularly if you set a plate on the scale.
Thinking a better design would be nice.

Turn scale on and numbers flash crazy. Place new batteries and still. Example after few seconds of it going crazy it clears to zero. Place item on scale and doesnt register add more still nothing. Ended up with pound of food for what shouldve been quarter gram. Faulty scale?

Had to read the instructions twice, but once I got it, I got it. The instructions were actually pretty clear. The little scale works just fine so I know where I will get my next one. Thanks for getting my package to me quickly.

After taking the scale out of its packaging and removing two plastic protector strips, the scale was ready to go. As a first test, I tried weighing US nickel five-cent pieces. (I understand that nickels weigh VERY close to five grams apiece.) As I added nickels to the scale, the display showed 5.0, 10.0, 15.0, 20.0,...until with 20 nickels, the display showed 100.0 grams. The accuracy of the scale seems to be as advertised.
The scale took about 37 days to get to me. Because you furnished me with the USPS Tracking Number of the package, I was able to follow its "fantastic voyage": After Chicago, it went west instead of east, and spent some time traveling around the Pacific, including twice through Tokyo. Eventually, it got to Frankfurt, Germany, and visited various places in Europe (at least it was in the correct hemisphere!). After a second pass through Frankfurt, it got to Istanbul (the right country, at last) and then finally to my local APO. (Whew!) I was getting concerned that all that extra transport and handling would reduce my poor scale to a small pile of scrap, but the bubble-wrap mailer survived intact, the factory blister pack was in perfect condition and, as I said earlier, the scale worked fine the first time I tried it.

Works fine. Used it for Boyscouts Pinewood Derby building car for grandson. Won first place. Saved me a lot of time going back and forth to weigh at post office.
